University of Manchester Research

We have been lucky enough to be invited to take part in a research study to understand what children think about the world we live in and the rights we have as people.  This study is aimed at children in Year 1 to 4.

The research will be carried out by Rebecca Simpson-Hargreaves, who has worked with our school for a number of years. Rebecca is a qualified teacher and has undergone a full DBS check.

Your child will be read a story, asked questions and will take part in a discussion around the book. They will also be asked if they want to create their own page for the book. This should take around 20 minutes. There will then be a group discussion around the book too.

Rebecca will be following our school’s risk assessment for Co-vid 19.

If you would like your child to be involved in this fantastic opportunity please fill in the form below.

We are expecting that lots of children will want to take part in this. If we get a high number of children wanting to take part we will randomly select them to ensure it is fair.
