Drop Everything and Read Week

Next week is Drop Everything and Read Week in school, during which we will be celebrating our school’s love of reading by dropping everything and reading for a few minutes every time the bell is rung in school. This includes all staff as well as the children, from teachers to office staff to mid-day supervisors!
The bell could be rung at any point in the school day, during lessons or at play or lunch time.

Please could you make sure that your child has their reading book with them every day in school next week, to help support our reading event.

Thank you for your support.

Joe Wicks inspires our school – 05/10/2021

It was fantastic to welcome Joe Wicks to our school on Tuesday. He did a workout, signed his new book ‘The Burpee Bears’, donated a copy to every class, read his book to us and met every class.  A big thank you to Mr Ford for entering the competition and organising the event.

His promotion of reading and physical welfare is inspiring and he is a great role model for all of our pupils.
